Bush Elementary School in the highly acclaimed Wylie Independent School District.

 

The Texas Education Agency now grades school districts around the state with A-F grades, based upon the cumulative weights of college, career & military readiness, STAAR performance, and graduation rate.

 

Wylie ISD received an “A” rating for the 2017-2018 school year, one of only 40 school districts out of the nearly 160 in Dallas-Fort Worth. Wylie ISD’s focus is ensuring students are prepared for a lifetime of success through a world-class education.

 

All 19 Wylie ISD campuses including George W. Bush Elementary have met the State’s highest academic standards, with more than half of those earning additional distinctions.

 

Wylie ISD students boast SAT and ACT college entrance exam scores above state and national averages. Based on performances on the PSAT exam, the District annually lists students in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program.
